Can I advertise a YouTube video using your Interstitial format?

For our Interstitial advertising we use an iframe in order to display a website.

YouTube does not allow you to display their website in an iframe.

The only way to advertise YouTube on AdF.ly at the moment is advertise an embedded video, so if your link looks like this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7cNP_fBJyA

you will need to change so it would look like this:

https://www.youtube.com/embed/Y7cNP_fBJyA

Notice that you replace 'watch?v=' with 'embed/' in the URL. In our AdF.ly advertising it would look this:

http://adf.ly/preview.php?url=http://www.youtube.com/embed/Y7cNP_fBJyA

We cannot comment if YouTube will count these views, even if the user presses play.

It is also possible to auto play the video:

http://adf.ly/preview.php?url=http://www.youtube.com/embed/Y7cNP_fBJyA?autoplay=1

OR

you could also try our Pop Ads format. Pop Ads are just a full page that displays your advert on a new tab without our header.
